On Digital Life Innovation

The higher image quality of television and DVD has enabled people to readily enjoy high-definition video content. And by networking the devices, we are now able to enjoy a new and different digital life.

Toshiba’s concept of a “next-generation network” allows people to do whatever they wish unrestrained by digital equipment. We believe this will become a reality not by connecting a number of digital products with cables but by incorporating the strength of each product.

Additionally in the future, if we have networks such as the HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) as well as Toshiba’s next-generation interface technology “Hand Gesture Input Interface,” we will be able to control the equipment and exploit the functions of other equipment without using a remote control.

At the IFA, the Toshiba booth will present this Digital Life Innovation, a new world where digital life becomes more enjoyable by networking the advantages of various Toshiba products.
